The Ukrainian department of IAEMLPS is registered
by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine at 11th October, 1996 (the certificate 77) also is national department with headquarters in Odessa.
Ukrainian department,
as the Academy as a whole, works under the initiative program, which
is coordinated with the international policy of the European commission of Organization Incorporated
Nations in the field of ecology and other international and national organizations.
Subjects of
scientific researches of the Ukrainian department of Academy is directed on the decision ecological
problems of construction and operation of industrial, port's, energy,
oil and other objects, including questions of safety, reliability, profitability
and environmental impact assessment.
Scientific researches and practical development are conducted on the following directions:
- new technologies in manufacture and protection of an environment and man;
- common and branch's problems of safety of work;
- information, education and training;
- economic and legal aspects of protection of a nature;
- influence of a status of an environment on health of the people;
- scientific - ecological support of the investment projects;
- Monitoring and forecast of a status of an environment.
More than 100 academicians and member-correspondents work in Ukrainian department, among them famous scientific, heads of large industrial and transport's .
enterprises, directors of research and educational institutes, chiefs ecological services and organizations, lawyers, economists.
The doors of Academy are open before the scientists and experts, public figures
and lawyers, doctors and financiers - everyone, whom of roads our common house - light-blue planet the Earth.
